the small print
your privacy.
What we collect, why, and where it lives. Plainly, with no surprises.
Zenene is a small, independent project. This page explains plainly what we collect and why — no legal jargon, no surprises.
What we collect
- Account info: your email, password (handled entirely by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your raw password), and the display name you choose.
- Journal, mood, and gratitude entries you write, so they can be shown back to you across sessions and devices.
- Resources you save from Explore.
- Messages you send Vera, so a response can be generated. If you're logged in, Vera may read your recent journal and mood entries to make her responses more relevant to you.
- Your conversations with Vera and what she remembers, if you're logged in. Past chats are saved to your account so you can come back to them, and Vera keeps short notes about things you've shared (like a friend's name or something that helps you) so she doesn't have to ask again.
How it's used
Your data is used only to run Zenene for you: showing your own entries back to you, and letting Vera respond with context. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Where it lives
Account and entry data is stored with Supabase. Messages you send Vera are processed by a Cloudflare Worker we run, which generates her replies with an AI model hosted on Cloudflare Workers AI. Cloudflare does not use your messages to train AI models. Your conversations with Vera are not sold or shared with advertisers.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your own journal, mood, and gratitude entries at any time from within the app. You can see everything Vera remembers on your Profile page, remove any single item, or delete all memories and past conversations at once. To delete your account and all associated data entirely, email us at zenene.com@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.
Not a substitute for care
Zenene, including Vera, is a reflective and supportive tool — not a licensed therapist or a crisis service. If you're in immediate danger or crisis, please contact a local emergency service or crisis line.
